However, if an individual is already in Australia on a valid Electronic Travel Authority visa and the visa is close to expiring, they can apply for an extension on the Visitor Visa Subclass 600. To be eligible, the applicant must demonstrate to the Department of Home Affairs that they are a genuine visitor and intend to stay in Australia temporarily. They will also need to show proof of sufficient financial funds to support their stay in Australia.

Visa Duration

This could be either a single entry or multiple entries, depending on the visa granted. If the visa is valid, you may be allowed to travel multiple times but if it’s a single-entry visa, you will have to apply for a new visa to come back to Australia.
