CPA ASSESSMENT PROCESS

Navigate the document-based assessment process from application to outcome.

STEP 1: APPLICATION & DOCUMENT SUBMISSION

Submit your online application through the CPA Australia portal. We recommend contacting our MARA-registered migration agent for professional guidance and assistance with the application process from start to finish. Provide high-resolution colour scans of all required documents (qualifications, transcripts, English evidence, and identity documents). Pay the applicable fee. CPA Australia reviews your submission for completeness before assessing degree comparability and competency requirements.

STEP 2: ASSESSMENT REVIEW & OUTCOME

CPA Australia evaluates your qualifications and English proficiency. You receive an outcome letter indicating if your skills meet the standard for the nominated occupation(s). If further studies are required, the letter specifies competency gaps (you can complete them via CPA Program foundation exams or accredited courses and submit an update).

STEP 3: POSITIVE OUTCOME & NEXT STEPS (Optional Skilled Employment)

Upon a suitable outcome, receive your official assessment letter with reference number (valid 3 years for visa use). Use it for Expression of Interest (EOI) or visa lodgement. Apply for skilled employment assessment (if not combined) within the validity period to claim experience points.
