What is a CPA Australia Skill Assessment?
The CPA Australia Skill Assessment is a process that assesses the skills and competencies of individuals who are seeking to migrate to Australia and work in the accounting or finance field. This assessment is designed to evaluate the applicant’s qualifications, work experience, and English language proficiency to ensure that they meet the standards required by Australian employers. The assessment is conducted by CPA Australia, a professional accounting body in Australia that provides education, training, and support to its members. To begin the CPA Australia Skill Assessment process, applicants must first submit their academic transcripts, resume, and evidence of work experience. CPA Australia then evaluates the applicant’s qualifications to ensure they meet the academic requirements for entry into the CPA Program. Once the academic requirements are met, applicants must also demonstrate their English language proficiency by taking an approved English language test. Finally, the applicant’s work experience is evaluated to ensure that it meets the requirements for a skilled migration visa. Successful completion of the CPA Australia Skill Assessment is an important step for individuals seeking to migrate to Australia and work in the accounting or finance field, as it is a requirement for many skilled migration visas.

The overseas qualification of the applicant is carefully evaluated to ensure that it meets the required standards for the relevant occupation in Australia. This ensures that the applicant has the necessary skills and knowledge to work in the accounting or finance field in Australia.

If an applicant’s qualifications meet the degree comparability requirement, they will be assessed for relevance to their chosen occupation using mandatory competencies for the relevant ANZSCO code. This process ensures that the applicant has the required skills and knowledge for their intended occupation in Australia.
