Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure that the organization operates in full compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, identifying potential risks, and ensuring ethical business practices across all departments. This role requires strong analytical skills, integrity, and a thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and control systems.
Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to identify risks and gaps.
Investigate compliance issues, violations, or complaints and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and reports.
Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors when required.
Stay updated with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies across departments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills

Experience working with regulatory bodies or in a regulated industry.
Knowledge of risk management and internal audit processes.
Familiarity with compliance management systems or software.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory documents.
Strong ethical judgment and decision-making abilities.
