Read The Result Correctly

An Occupation Match Is The Starting Point

Each result now shows the complete visa pathways contained in the combined official occupation reference. A pathway listing still does not confirm personal, employer, nomination or visa eligibility.

01

Confirm The Correct List

The visa subclass must align with the occupation list shown in the result. A listing under one program does not automatically apply to another.

02

Check The ANZSCO Version

CSOL-based Subclass 186 and 482 pathways use ANZSCO 2022. MLTSSL, STSOL and ROL pathways use ANZSCO 2013.

03

Review Caveats And Authority Rules

Occupation caveats, assessing-authority criteria, state nomination settings and employer requirements can still affect the pathway. Review the current visa rules before relying on any listed pathway.

Check The Current Source Before Acting

The records are rebuilt from the Department of Home Affairs combined reference and the relevant Federal Register of Legislation instruments for Subclasses 186, 407, 482 and 494, plus MLTSSL, STSOL and ROL pathways. Rules and instruments can change.
